Goalkeeper Shaun MacDonald joined the Grecians in September on a short-term deal, before extending his contract until the end of 2024/25
He joined the Grecians after leaving fellow League One side Cheltenham Town in the summer of 2023.
Starting his career in non-league with Gateshead in 2015, Shaun moved to Blyth Spartans in 2017, before a move to neighbours Torquay United in 2018 saw him make over 100 appearances for the Gulls over a four-year spell.
Shaun then moved to Cheltenham Town where he made four appearances in the 2022/23 season. In 2023/24, Shaun made two appearances for the Grecians, both in the EFL Trophy.
Shaun committed his future to the club in April 2024 and will challenge for the number one shirt in the new season.
